This week I’m going to post something old school….remember the SPOTLIGHT ON segments?  Ashley started them as a way to introduce you to the CMT crew.  Well, we have a new guy on board.  Justin.  And he is awesome.  So, in keeping with tradition…

Position within CMT: Booking agent

Favorite thing about working at CMT: I enjoy meeting new people and the close knit environment of our office. I come to work with Murphy’s Law in full anticipation.  This is a fun and exciting business and I learn something new each and every day.

Likes: Going to the Movies, Video Games Music & Sports (Football, Basketball).  I am big fan of “The Office” and watch it religiously.  I like to work out and enjoy going out in Atlanta on the weekends.  I try to do something different every time.

Dislikes: vegetables

Hobbies: I am a writer and I plan on picking it back up in my free time.  Be on the lookout for me in a sports blog nearest you! I also plan on learning the guitar at some point in my life.  I plan on teaching myself how to make beats once I get all of the equipment I need as well.  I also want to improve my golf game, like the other 98% of people who play it, only I desperately need the help!

Brief Bio about yourself: 

I was born in Augusta, Ga and lived in California for 3 years, before moving to Marietta where I have lived since 1988!  I am a former Division 1 student-athlete.  I competed in Track & Field while in college.  I am a fun-loving individual who enjoys writing, watching TV, shopping and naps.  I am a Libra so I like everything to be balanced and evenly flowing.  I love my family and friends and meeting new people.  I enjoy going to concerts and sporting events, but can appreciate the cool, laid back settings of a lounge or bar.  I am usually hanging out with friends on the weekends either watching sports or going out.   I like to travel and hope to have seen Europe or Africa sometime within the next 5 years

The Talent Awards

As a follow up to last week’s “Talent Cancellations-Why We Fear and Loathe Them”, we would now like to reward all of our FABULOUS talent (who do not cancel) and who go above and beyond to represent CMT .  Starting right now, we are going to  feature the very best talent we have, talent who has risen above, exceeded our expectations AND our client’s expectations.  For this, we say “THANK YOU!”  Each booking agent has selected a talent that has recently done an outstanding job.  So…drumroll please…

My Pick- Diana, Los Angeles

Diana totally went beyond the call of duty for my Las Vegas 007 event.  If you remember from my tweets , it was an event muddled by talent cancellations and costuming disasters.  Just when I think I can’t take any more, Diana calls and says her car has broken down….BUT, she thinks she has a ride there.  Mission Accomplished.  The next time I spoke with Diana, she was already at the venue….and early.  In true Bond girl style, Diana hustled and represented CMT fiercely as Jinx, that’s the Bond girl played by Halle Berry in Die Another Day( for those of you who are like me and have never seen a 007 flick).  Thank you Diana!

Kimi’s Pick- Toi, Atlanta

She’s always on time, eager to work, fills in at the last minute, never complains about picking up POS and all of her recaps and photos are emailed on time!

Mike’s Pick- Jennifer, Savannah

I picked Jennifer in Savannah for helping me out with my gin promos.  I never have to worry about her, she finds girls to work for me sometimes and is clearly my Savannah life saver.

Justin’s Pick- Hana, Maryland

Hana is super professional.  She took on leadership responsibility to the fullest for the Acorda “I Walk Because” event in Reston, VA.  The other talent liked her as well.</
