Position within CMT: President & CEO

Favorite thing about working at CMT: Working with very passionate and dedicated people who want to be a part of a fast-growing company

Likes: Eating at trendy restaurants, decorating my house, and playing with my bird named Baci

Dislikes: AtPeople that run late and do not use spell check

Hobbies: Golf (could be better), Fly-fishing, and shooting sporting clays

Hidden Talent: I can whistle louder than anyone you know!

Favorite Quote/Motto: Silence means approval

Brief Bio: I was born and raised in Athens, Georgia and graduated from the University of Georgia in 1989. After graduation, I started as a sales person with a company selling VHS movies to retail stores like Blockbuster. However, I decided that the corporate world was not for me, so I became a serial entrepreneur and hit it big with CMT Agency. I married my husband, Mike Kohlsdorf, in 2006 and became a stepmom to an incredibly handsome 21 year old named Ryan. He is in his junior year at Emory University.

This week’s Spotlight goes to a relatively new addition to the CMT team. Even though she hasn’t been here as long as some of the rest, she fits in like she has been here for years! This week’s Spotlight goes to…

Hidden Talent: I can cook up a storm!

Favorite Quote/Motto: “If you want crappy things to stop happening to you then stop accepting crap and demand something more.” ~ Grey’s Anatomy

Brief Bio: I am one of the few people born and raised in Atlanta. I received a BA degree in Communications from the University of Tennesee, Knoxville for college and I bleed ORANGE! After graduation, I moved back to Atlanta in hopes of starting my career (very successful might I add). I am an only child and my parents, Charles and Sheryl, are truly an inspiration to me. I have a wonderful boyfriend, Mike, and dog, Kona.

Congratulations Lauren!!!

So last week, the CMT spotlight went to little miss Picabo, our resident shoe shiner and toe licker. It’s only appropriate that this week we spotlight her momma, so without further ado, this week’s spotlight goes to…

Ashley Gross

(Twitter Ashley!)

Position within CMT: Marketing Director, part-time booking agent, and resident blogger

Favorite thing about working at CMT: How unique each person who works here is!

Likes: The changing of seasons, Notre Dame football, working out, running, smiling, making people happy, dessert, dancing, Food Network, the beach, snow skiing, my family, Picabo, Starbucks, Patti Callahan Henry books, and the simple things in life… There’s nothing greater!

Dislikes: Bad drivers, bad listeners, dishonesty, super hot or super cold weather, swiss cheese, pears, crowds of people (makes me anxious), and bad customer service.

Hobbies: Working out and perfecting my chocolate chip cookie recipe (One of, if not THE best cookies you’ve ever put in your mouth GUARANTEED!)

Hidden Talent: Baking and I can have a conversation with just about anyone, any age, and any walk of life.

Favorite Quote/Motto: “Dream as if you’ll live forever. Live as if you’ll die today.” (James Dean) It’s so important to live life to the fullest. You never know when it could be gone.

Brief Bio: I have moved around A LOT in my life. I was born in California and then the “house ADD” began. We moved about 10 times growing up and my parents weren’t in the military. My family is my world and have made me who I am today. My parents are the epitome of the American Dream and are two of the strongest people I know. In spite of living in 5 different states, I have always come back to Atlanta. It is my home. I can confidently say that you will never meet another person like me. I love my family, friends, and job more than anything. Life is crazy and confusing and rarely makes sense, but it’s one exciting adventure! All in all, I have had an amazing ride on this thing called life and can’t wait to see what’s in store for the future!

A few weeks ago, we spotlighted the CMT guard dog, Minnie. Well, here at Convention Models & Talent, we are a dog friendly office and have another sweet dog who hangs around most of the week. This week’s spotlight goes to…

Picabo

Position within CMT: Shoe shiner, Toe-licker

Favorite thing about working at CMT: The people who pet me and give me food

Likes: Belly rubs, GOWALKRIDECAR!, hanging my head out of the car window, table scraps, cuddling with my mom, my brothers and sisters, my Froggie, playing tug of war and fetch… I’m a happy dog!

Dislikes: Stormy weather, the vet, most doggie treats, when my sister Martini gets attention and I don’t, and people wearing hats

Hobbies: Licking people’s toes, shining shoes, playing with my teddy, and SLEEPING!

Hidden Talent: I can out-circle anyone. Just watch how many circles I can do without getting dizzy.

Favorite Quote/Motto: “GOWALKRIDECAR!!!!”

Brief Bio: I am 10 years old but act like I’m 4. My first mommy was my mom’s mom, but they got too many dogs and weren’t paying me enough attention, so that’s when my current mom took me to her house for good. Now, I get all the attention to myself and don’t have to share my food with the other doggies (except when we go visit). My mom takes me to work most days of the week and I get to play with my friend, Minnie. We like to share toys and water bowls. I live a great life and am glad to be a part of CMT!
